Project 365: Week Six

February 12, 2012 by Kristin Fields 4 Comments

I promise not to say this EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK., but I have actually managed to take a photograph a day for the last 42 days. Seriously, it is rare that I stick with anything this long. Not because I’m not dedicated, but because I’m forgetful! I’m just so excited to be able to look back through my 366 photographs that I cannot help but keep up.

Football, food and games!!

Sunday, February 5 (Day 36): We watched the Super Bowl at my uncle Heath’s house, pigged out on yummy foods and the kids played games at the dining room table. I had many brownies, snuggled with the hubs and yelled at Sophie to get off of the stairs. I hate it, but I completely missed the #febphotoaday because the prompt was 10 a.m. I was sitting in Bible Study and didn’t really think it was appropriate to whip out the iPhone and snap away!

Dinner. 360 calories. #febphotoaday

Monday, February 7 (Day 37): The girls ate dinner at my parents’ house and Josh grabbed something to go on his way home from a wake. I cooked yummy hamburger patties, with colby jack cheese & homemade pico de gallo. They were only 360 calories each, so naturally I had two! YUMMY, I tell ya.

A splash of Dr. Pepper makes for a sticky 4 button. Boo. #febphotoaday

Tuesday, February 8 (Day 38): A few weeks ago I spilled a fountain drink in my lap at work. Thank goodness I deflected most of it or I would have had to wear wet pants all day. Unfortunately, a little did managed to splash the keys on my laptop. Since I’ve been typing a lot this week, I noticed just how sticky my number 4 key is. Let’s just say there have been lots of 4444444444444s in my documents!

Today's post-run sunshine. #febphotoaday

Wednesday, February 9 (Day 39): Between work and small group on Wednesdays, I have several hours to burn. I usually run errands, shop or meet the girls for Mexican food. I decided that I need to be more productive during this time and spend less money. So, I’m starting to run at a local park on my way home. I had to fight the geese for the sidewalk and there was poo everywhere.

The front door. #febphotoaday

Thursday, February 10 (Day 40): I really wanted to take a picture of the Rock House front door on Thursday, but my Christmas wreath is still hanging up (OH, the shame!!). Instead, I drove past my building before pulling into the parking deck. I think the security guard in the lobby thinks I’m crazy!

Me. #selfportrait #febphotoaday

Friday, February 11 (Day 41): I was a little nervous about this one. I don’t take good pictures of myself, especially with the iPhone. It’s awkward and I always make my face look so weird. At least I liked what I was wearing today. Isn’t it funny that I had to sneak in the bathroom and snap a picture real quick?

Running with my crazy family. #makesmehappy #febphotoaday

Saturday, February 12 (Day 42): Members of my family gathered for a local walk/fun run to benefit heart disease on Saturday. It was 39* outside, but we managed to survive the entire 3 miles. We did not run it all — it was just too COLD — be we had a wonderful morning together. They make me happy.
