Sure, it’s been a month since we got back from our family vacation, but I still like to pretend it isn’t over yet. Those two weeks in June are some of my favorites of the entire year and after looking forward to them for months, it’s really hard to let go. In fact, I’ve already made my reservations for next year and have a running list of things I want to update in the trailer before then. Does that make me crazy?
Every summer, Josh makes fun of me for the endless photographs I take and reminds me that ya’ll don’t want to see us posing in front of those same favorite places every summer. As a mom (and keeper of the memories), I can’t resist capturing all of those moments, but I do understand where he’s coming from. Since we vlogged our mini vacation last summer, I’ve been dreaming of sharing video more regularly here. Summer vacation was the perfect opportunity to practice with Ella’s new video camera and we caught lots of funny moments. At the end of the day, these are still just home movies, but we appreciate you indulging us as we share.
