A Blog About My Favorite Things

March by the Numbers

April 6, 2015 by Kristin Fields 3 Comments

When I last left you, I assumed I would be home last Monday and Tuesday while my family was at the beach. I had tons of work to do and just couldn’t figure out how to take off the entire week. I anticipated getting blog posts scheduled, design work caught up and a vlog filmed for last Friday. Instead, my bosses encouraged me to take some work with me and not spend so much time driving back and forth. I’m guessing you know that I jumped on that offer and the blog was a little neglected because of it. Hopefully, I’ll have an extra post (or two) to make up for it and we’ll all have to be okay with March’s recap being a few days late!

March

March was busy, but so much fun! We added three road trips to our calendar: Atlanta, Chattanooga and Gulf Shores (to be blogged this week!). We got all sorts of happy mail and both baseball and dance seemed to monopolize our schedules! I didn’t blog as much as I’d like, but I posted way too much on Instagram, so maybe that evened out. Beemer turned the big 1-2 this month and is starting to act more and more like an old lady. We’re convinced she’s losing her hearing, but maybe she’s just decided to ignore us after all these years! We finally managed to get the Christmas wreaths off of our front porch (AND file our taxes, whew), but we still need to spend some time getting the yard ready for spring and summer. We finished up Sons of Anarchy (finally), but quickly replaced it with Game of Thrones. I was prepared to hate it, but honestly… I kind of fell in love. We watched all four seasons on-line and are ready for the new season to start RIGHT NOW. In the meantime, I picked up the fourth book (hoping to get my Jon Snow fix), but it’s filled with lots of new characters. Bummer.
