We woke up on Saturday morning, anxious to be home. We had gotten excited with Ella’s homecoming only to be detained an extra day for her cardiac consultation. Luckily, Sophie was discharged bright and early and we knew we were homeward bound. Ella made it very clear that she wanted to escort us home, so Gran got her up and ready and we were ready to leave the hospital before lunch.
Ella helped me get her dressed in her pretty gown Gran made.
Unfortunately, she was so little we had to wear Gran’s backup dress, but we did manage to sneak her sweet slip underneath.
