11/11: Last Sunday our pastor shared this quote both in our Sunday School class and again in evening worship. How comforting are these words of Lewis Smedes’? I have been looking for several weeks for a cute Alabama sweatshirt, but they were either all ugly or $75. I just couldn’t fathom spending that on a sweatshirt?!?! I found this one while we were in Ttown in the children’s department. I wore it to church on Sunday night and it is officially my new favorite article of clothing. I also spent some time with my sister packing 20 boxes for Operation Christmas Child. I was also pretty excited when OCC/Samaritan’s Purse “liked” my photo on Instagram. I’m a nerd.
11/12: This child is OBSESSED with all things Disney. We’ve been looking at photographs from when we took Ella and now that she knows what it looks like, she’s even more obsessed. On Monday night she was carrying around Lucy and singing “Happy Birthday to Cinderella’s Castle!” I couldn’t keep a straight face.
11/13: I ordered these skull bangles from Groopdealz last week and they showed up on Tuesday. They aren’t quite as cute in person, but for $3.50 each, I’m happy with them.
11/14: I decided to pair polka dots and giraffe spots for work. I heart patterns.
11/15: We headed to the first home JV basketball game we’ve managed to make it to on Thursday after dance. Ella had a blast with her friends, but SK was in rare form. I don’t think we even made to the midpoint of the game before walking home.
11/16: Friday night was girls’ night out with my best friend Ryan. We had mall food, bought a cheeky sweater at Forever 21, stuff ourselves silly at the theater,gasped our way through Breaking Dawn Part 2 and emptied the dollar section at Target. I’m already ready to see it again?!?! This is the only picture I managed to get since preggers refused to smile for the camera. It’s a good thing I love her anyway!
11/17: We had such a lazy day at home yesterday. I could very easily be a lazy recluse if I let myself. I read two books, watched hours of football, devoured CFA for lunch, caught up on laundry, worked on design projects and FINALLY blogged. Here’s hoping the rest of the weekend is just as productive.
