Much like Easter baskets, stockings are one of my favorite things to shop for all year! My mom always put so much thought into our stockings and still packs a pretty mean sock on Christmas morning. I know that different families treat holidays differently and I have plenty of friends that go the candy only route. For me, it’s an opportunity to add a few things the girls already need (like toothbrushes and hair ties), alongside other items that we might typically avoid (play doh, anyone?). I tend to shop for stocking year round and have a hiding spot to add to my stash throughout the year. The Target Dollar Spot, Jane.com, and clearance bins at my favorite stores provide plenty of ideas leading up to the holidays. I must admit, however, Prime shipping has me coming back to Amazon for ideas time and time again!
Since there are so many suggestions in this post, I decided not to describe each of the gifts (or tell you why you need them). They aren’t listed in any particular order and although there are plenty of girly items included, there are just as many that would work for boys.
