I know that you all know today was election day. I probably waited with most of you in line tonight! I love to hear voting stories and all about your experience. Here’s mine:
Ella went with me to vote during the primary election and since she never forgets a thing, she totally knew what we were talking about when we said we needed to “bote.”
Tonight when I got to my parents’ house to pick her up, she swiped my sticker. Then she said, “You bote?” I answered, “Yes.” She said, “You bote? Bote. Bote. Gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily. Life is but a dream.”
I freakin’ LOVE my two year old. I bet your voting story isn’t as good as mine!
