Sporadic

That is the word that describes the internet service at my house right now. We just attempted to watch 24 on-line and while that normally would decrease the amount of time it takes to watch, since the commercials are omitted, it actually increased that time exponentially. Ugghh.

Moving on... The Shred is still killing me. I have to admit, however, that it is at least midly entertaining if for no other reason than it gets all four of us {dog included} in one room and we look so ridiculous that we can't help but laugh at ourselves. Josh is using my hand weights, so I have to use water bottles. I know, I'm weak. Ella wants to join in the fun so last night she used her sandals and tonight she used ink pens. I wish that's what I was using. If I'm not skinny before too long I'm going to want my money back.

Here's a random moment - I saw what I refer to as the "smackdown on the highway" while commuting today. I was driving home, minding my own business in rush hour this afternoon when I saw a man pulled over and arrested at gunpoint on the side of the road! It happened about 6 feet from my car and I was sure I'd get carjacked. Unfortunately {or fortunately, depending on your point of view} the light turned green and I drove away just as things were getting interesting.

Since I can't get my internet to cooperate long enough for a proper Disney post, I'm going to save it for later in the week when, according to the customer service representative(s), my internet is in full force. In the meantime, I'll leave you with my favorite picture** from our final day and tell you that we had a wonderful time. I couldn't have wished for a better week to be in WDW and Ella was such an angel {most of the time}. Watching the excitement on her face was worth every dime we spent and every minute we waited in line.

I had also planned to mention our many potty successes over the last several weeks, including the fact that we escaped an 8 day vacation with only one accident that occurred during nap, numerous theme park restroom breaks and one very daring side-of-the-road tinkle AND the fact that I let Ella wear big girl panties to church on Sunday, to school this week and to Molly's school program tonight. Then Ella pooped in said big girl panties while enjoying a lovely family meal at the local DQ tonight. Have you ever tried cleaning up after an atomic disaster in the trunk of your car? Let's just say the panties went the way of the poop and wipies... in the trash.

Prayer. Did I mention I needed prayer?

**I don't know why this picture makes me look like I have a beer gut and my pants are falling off. Upon closer review it might not be my favorite picture at all. I should put a black bar from Ella's knee down. Ugghh again.

  1. I was looking at the Shred video yesterday after your post, and I thought I would ask: do you need to buy anything to go along with it? But your post today said something about handweights, so I guess you need those. Do you have to buy anything else?

The only reason that pic looks like that is because Ella is pressing down on your tummy and smushing it like that, you so do not have a beer gut! Still a cute pic to me, and I would never have noticed your tummy until you said something.

Have a great day and keep up the good work with Ella and the working out and the blogging :)
